Strøm spa Saint-Sauveur

Heritage, Nature, and Well-being
Located along the Simon River, Strøm spa nordique Saint-Sauveur is entering a new phase of development with the addition of four new pavilions. Positioned along the riverbanks, these structures blend seamlessly into the landscape, following the natural contours of the site and nestled within a mature forest.
Drawing from both tradition and modernity, the architectural approach is inspired by vernacular design. The classic gabled roof, emblematic of the region’s built heritage, is reimagined to form contemporary volumes that harmonize with the surrounding environment. Porches and covered galleries, characteristic of the area, are transformed into spaces for gathering and quiet contemplation, encouraging a strong connection with nature.
Designed to foster relaxation, the new facilities offer a thermal experience that flows organically between indoor and outdoor settings. Hot baths, cold plunge pools, saunas, and resting areas are interwoven with nature trails, creating a holistic balance between wellness and immersion in the landscape. This visionary project reaffirms Strøm Saint-Sauveur’s status as a premier wellness destination, in symbiosis with its natural surroundings and the cultural legacy of the site.
